christmas shred

...so when the rest of the world goes over to grandma's for presents and christmas dinner, zigaloha goes snowboarding...

...left my house at 8:00 with biggy smalls heading towards mt. hood and stopped by 7-11 for a monster and some gas. little did i know that i was about to embark on one of the best days of shredding so far in the early season...taking my time getting to the hill wasn't really an option considering there was no traffic, and i found a great spot in the lower lot of timberline amongst a scattered dozen or so cars...put on my boots and made the trek up the hill to the drop, and traversed over to conway's for an hard packed park run...

...top of stormin, a bit windy, but sunny and warm...a hint of bluebird in the air...took a stroll through the park which was sporting a new 50' booter and a massive quarter/hip after the jumps...a few steezy front boards and lipslides later i was cruisin down to jeff flood for a change of scenery...ran into a couple friends and took some runs through the mini park...

...wanted to get lunch, but i couldn't stop thinking about the bottom c-rail in the conway's park so i jetted back over there and hit it a couple times, getting a back lip first try...petty stoked on the progression on that box considering i didn't even try hitting it last year...feeling good about my little christmas present, i hit the mile for a couple speedy runs before hitting the lodge for a christmas day bloody mary from tina...

...all in all it was a super fun christmas shred and a nice warm up for crittermas in the evening...
