The Powgnar Classic - 11th Annual Discgolf Tournament at Skibowl
Good grief, can't believe it's already been a week since the tournament! Time flies when you are having fun! We wanted to post a quick recap with some scores and shoutouts and thanks to everyone that attended and sponsored the tournament; without good friends and competitors it just wouldn't be the same!
First a big shoutout to the rockstars from Fort George Brewery! They brought out a couple cards of players as well as some tasty brews for all the players to accompany all that glorious pizza. We can never say thanks enough to their support each year!
Second we want to recognize our awesome returning CTP sponsor Brickhouse Bar & Grill. Ryan Perry & Andrea DeLyria took home some awesome CTP Certificates as our CTP winners, and everyone got to enjoy bottles of water and snacks thanks to Brickhouse as well. Definitely appreciate their contributions to helping the players feel the love!
We also were graced with a river of BeGOAT Cascara+ that flowed for all the thirsty players that got their blood pumping on some sweet all natural energy. No one got tired on tournament day from a lack of caffeine, that's for sure!

Scores have all been posted on the discgolfscene event page ( https://bit.ly/3C9jz0Z ) so you can check out all the low shooters from the tourney. We had multiple tie breakers and sudden death overtimes to keep it entertaining all day long. Already looking forward to doing it again!

Women's Division: Katie Valdez took the crown at +3
Men's Advanced: Nate "Fella" Salvon & Travis Head tied at -5
Men's Intermediate: Jason Thoma & Dustin Smith tied at -3
Men's Recreational: Randy Stoller took down the rec field at -1
The course was playing decent and the weather was a pleasant surprise as well. Hope everyone had fun and is getting excited to do it again in 2023. Thanks again for all the help and support from everyone that joined us at the 11th Annual Tournament at Mt. Hood Skibowl and in spirit, it is truly appreciated!
